Job Description:

Job Purpose:

Responsible for metrics published in the vertical by closely following trade and customer behaviour patterns. To build reports/ dashboards and other analytical frame works.

To be involved in adhoc projects to derive insight, solve problem statements, review business, etc.

Key Actions performed by this Job Holder:

1.Quality check KPI reports and ensure accuracy of information appearing on all reports

2.Measure the impact of marketing activity on customers behaviour across each of our businesses and ensure this learning is built into future activity;

3.Ensure KPIs are accurate and delivered on time

4.Contributing to service and process improvement projects within the team giving tangible benefits to the organisation

5.To keep process documentation up to date and to ensure any changes are reviewed and authorised by supervisors

6.Deliver reporting of analysis KPIs to Insight and Marketing managers to support teams understanding of marketing effectiveness, trading and customers through robust communication & escalation

7.Deliver on projects to solve problems based on the questions on trade raised by the business.

8.Perform analysis to understand business from the view point of customers, marketing effectiveness and competitor performance.

9.Work on making the process more efficient constantly by employing continuous improvement practices.

Key interactions:

Internal:Stake holders, Team members, other team members in HSC and UK, especially IT teams like MIS support.

External: Research Agencies, Software vendors like Site Intelligence, eClerx, etc.

Functional Skills required to be successful in the role:

MS-Excel: Advanced

SQL: Advanced

VBA Macro: Intermediate

Web analytics tools: Basic

Emphasis on Reporting and Report building skills

Works on automation of reports, complex targeting and analysis

Handle adhoc inquiries independently

Handles multiple sets of reports going to multiple stakeholders

Seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen stakeholder relationships.

Identifies critical issues with some support/ line supervision

Possesses good planning and priortising skills

Qualifications required for the role:

BE, Graduation in any quantitative major, MBA,

Advanced SQL and Advanced MS Excel skills

(MS Excel, MS Access in particular), VB skills and Macro writing skills, Oracle or Terradata or any databases management software skills, VB.net, SAS, SPSS, Web Analytical tools
